There are more problems with living here than I even have the time to list but here's a few just in case you're wondering: massive craters in the parking lot, no parking lot lights, no street lights, deteriorating American flag out at the entrance, maintenance that won't fix a roof that has been leaking since Christmas Eve of 2014, home in severely poor condition before even moving in, serious pest problem outdoors, the central air doesn't work and if it does it is extremely energy inefficient, break in's to vehicles, no security (no matter how much they say there is), obnoxiously loud and rude neighbors, inconsiderate office staff (don't worry they're friendly until you sign your lease), awful and literally impossible to contact management company. Among the 18 communities considered to be part of Downriver are Taylor, Romulus, Allen Park, Southgate, and Trenton.
