The Network and Telecommunication Systems, Services and Security laboratory (NetLab) was founded in 2004 under the supervision of Prof. C. Douligeris in the Department of Informatics, University of Piraeus.

Research 
A wide area of Research Activity with a special focus on telecommunications, network & computer security on wireless applications and information and communication technologies (ICT) in the healthcare domain.
Teaching
Areas of interest include energy efficiency, power control, admission control, interference analysis, green communications, information systems, data privacy and related Hellenic and EU regulation.
Staff
The staff of the lab consists of senior researchers, post doctoral fellows and PhD candidates and has extensive experience in national and international research and development projects.
