They delay like half their games it’s probably the Pokemon company rushing them. (Vs seeker frlg, bw map/pokedex showing what hasnt been caught on a route, etc) as well as an expansion such as the sevii Islands but unique to sinnoh. I understand deadlines, like wanting the anime, TCG and the games to all line up, but when it gets to the point of sacrificing game quality for the sake of meeting deadlines, that's when things should be reconsidered. Cookies help us deliver our Services. However, that doesn't really work when so many other Switch games did the same thing for other franchises and still managed to be great or even excellent games. I really wish they would give gamefreak more time, more resources and whatever they need. Usually I play through each game multiple times with different teams and shiny hunt or battle tower at the end. r/pokemon is an unofficial Pokémon fan community.

I am not too worried about the quality of the graphics. Im hoping for a straight remake of sinnoh with the best qol improvements from the entire franchise of games. it's problematic how Nintendo is rushing the production of Pokemon games because I, and many others, think that's why Sword and Shield were incomplete. Let's Go and Sword/Shield clearly had very different styles when it came to the graphics, which one would you like them to implement in the Sinnoh remake? A new leak suggests a return to Sinnoh is on the cards but now how you think. Nintendo has usually followed a new generation with a remake for an old one, this tradition has been followed for a long time now. They don't want a better game. And definitely hope there is less emphasis on mega/z/dynamax. By using our Services or clicking I agree, you agree to our use of cookies. Sinnoh and B2/W2 are by far my favorite games and I don't have my hopes up, I am ready to get my memory of my sinnoh ruined by the remakes. But for the best reason possible; they exist sheerly to help Pokemon go further. But it will not happen for the simple reason of pokemon being the franchise it is. The latest leak regarding the game suggests that it might be a remake of the Sinnoh generation. I just want Sinnoh remakes that are faithful to DPPt and contain Platinum's additions like the Sinnoh Battle Frontier, the Distortion World and Looker. It was a disappointing, linear, boring game. I think GameFreak deserves more time to make their games as good as they can be. And hopefully the bring back the national dex for at least up to sinnoh with gen 5-8 being unlocked after elite 4. A Pokemon Diamond Pearl remake has been teased and rumored for a while now. Let's Go is a much better looking game with shit UI. I agree. I agree and it's sad that Pokemon doesn't have the "Nintendo Polish". r/pokemon is an unofficial Pokémon fan community. But the point still stands, GameFreak, and Pokemon as a whole, just needs more time, no matter who holds their whip. if it makes you happy at least they’re taking the annual release off for this year and the dlc seems lackluster so many they’re putting all the development team into the new game possibly? I hate dynamax and since it's the gens feature it will probably be in the remakes because of a bend of "space and time" it is possible. I prefer some more serious-ish settings like the games before alola. If the games had been given more time to develop they had a lot of potential with the wild areas and bew concepts.

It would be preferable to have quality of life improvements as well. It is very popular among certain maniacal fan segments. GameFreak wasn't give the time they needed to add every Pokemon, move et cetera, clean up animations and so on. I wish they would make a qualitative game again. They want less quality/content and a more pricey game. This rant is NOT aimed at GameFreak or their workers, but rather Nintendo and their executives who prioritize constant updates and new games rather than quality games. I have to say that I don't like the setting either, it is a bit too "happy" for my taste. I hate dynamax and since it's the gens feature it will probably be in the remakes … Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts. Press J to jump to the feed. But mainly the difficulty and lack of simple content like mythical encounters/legendaries in combination with linearity made sword so bad for me. I had the same thought after I played some of sword. Sinnoh and B2/W2 are by far my favorite games and I don't have my hopes up, I am ready to get my memory of my sinnoh ruined by the remakes. I'm not saying halt all production of Pokemon media for five years, but maybe an extra year and a half would do wonders for game quality and fulfillment. TL;DR: Nintendo, give your most successful franchise more time to be the great your fans want it to be, and stop settling for 'good enough'. But after finishing the champion of sword, I didn't even finish the short endgame story to catch the legendary Pokemon.

I didn't like alola for that very reason either. The crux of this issue is, at its core, Nintendo. These games had to do similar things for Mario and Zelda, but did it with grace and excellence, unlike Sword and Shield.

For example: Breath Of The Wild, while the wait was intense, is breathtaking, complex, veritably huge and an overall amazing game. I find Sword and Shield disappointing in the same vein as X and Y were. Super Mario Odyssey is similarly large, functional, beautiful and fun, and it took three years to develop. I think many of us are expecting a Sinnoh remake, we don't know when but it should be the next remake … It doesn't appear in any feeds, and anyone with a direct link to it will see a message like this one.
