A quick google search showed that the value of our build would be way over market for comparable homes in the area. If you wanna THROW your MONEY AWAY buy a Fischer. Working for Fischer Homes has had an abundance of Pro's. My husband and I spent 3 weekends and countless hours  of our time designing a home in a neighborhood that we felt would be the right fit for our future family. If you're still reading, my best advice is to make sure you have plenty of time to point out issues, research fixes on your own (because they will disagree with whatever you say until you can prove that they are wrong), and fight like crazy to actually get it done right. The one we chose was priced out at $237,731 with a few selected upgrades and we put a $3000 deposit down. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FISCHER HOMES (RENAISSANCE, FRANKLIN, OHIO) -BRAND NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME WITH A WET BASEMENT! BRAND NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME WITH A WET BASEMENT! But I cannot do that until Fischer adequately addresses  the water issues. My insurance company came out to take a picture of the home and put it highly unacceptable and gave me to June 5 2019 to fix it or replace it, well after going back and forth for several months they finally replaced the whole roof. While we realize not every home is going to be perfect and there can be issues along the way, we stand behind our homes to make sure you get the home you want. No one with Fischer did what they said they were going to do and we have had to stay on top of it every step of the way. Fischer Homes was fantastic all the way to closing. I’m a single mom who who needed a fresh start after going thru a divorce, lost her house, job and son who was killed in a car accident. We are still trying to get answers to questions and continue to get ignored. We are just so in love with it! We came to a price that we were comfortable with that day and were very excited about building a home with Fischer. A few had wet basement issues, which I was trying to avoid. After Closing, AnY concerns I have I am told to read the owners maintenance manual. Helps that it is a family-owned company and the family is still involved. Of course we had our bumps along the road but Hunter stood by and went to bat for us every step of the way and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. It is literally crumbling into pieces, the rep for Sterling has been here multiple times and said he has never seen anything like it and it could not be from anything we are doing, but Fischer reps would like to believe it's from a SHAMPOO bottle.....I wish it was that simple and I would just not keep the plastic bottle in my shower anymore if that's what poor quality the shower is made of....it's not from us, it's from the way the shower is uneven where it is installed and the Sterling rep has even told them this. They said they ran a water hose in the backyard and did not see any water infiltration in the basement.Fast forward. Just overall bad experience with their condo and craftsmanship of the place. Our sales counselor and superintendent were wonderful. When new toliets were put in December the line wasnt cleared and a few weeks later had back up again and it was 2 weeks before my 1 year warranty was up. Don't recommend them at all, After shocking myself by touching our front yard hose spigot, I had an electrician come out to discover the entire front of our house was electrified since day 1. We signed a contract May 2019 to build a home and just received our final inspection August 2020. There is a complex business process, which took me at least a year to understand. This companys Management, all the way to the top is as crooked as they come!
