Most composers in the new music community aren’t consciously thinking about this, but we’re involved all the same. Charles-Hubert Gervais (19 February 1671 – 14 January 1744) was a French composer of the Baroque era. After Attaingnant died in late 1551 or 1552, Gervaise continued to assist Attaingnant's widow, Marie Lescallopier-Attaingnant, in carrying on their publishing business.
